Starting and finishing outside the railway station on South Parade, Blackburn. The walks will follow a circular route of 5km using quiet back roads to link walking trails through Blackburn Lake Sanctuary and along the Blackburn Creeklands.

Thursdays during school terms
9.30am-10.30am
$8 per class - pay for 10 classes, get 1 free
A class for seniors who want to keep active. This class will help maintain strength and flexibility, while moving to a variety of music genres. Apparatus used are hand weights, theraband and small exercise balls.
A fun way to socialise and keep fit!
Comfortable clothing and shoes essential.

Mondays during school terms
9.30am-10.30am
$8 per class - pay for 10 classes, get 1 free
A fun and energetic class incorporating an aerobic style warm-up to a diverse range of music, followed by travelling jazz style steps to keep that brain and body active!!
Finishing off with either weights or theraband for arm toning, and necessary stretching.
Comfortable clothing and shoes are essential.

​Move your body, calm your mind and foster a state of mindfulness with weekly yoga classes for adults. Our experienced teacher will guide you through a range of traditional postures and breathwork, to promote strength and flexibility of both mind and body.
Combining hatha and yin styles of yoga, classes vary from week to week for a dynamic experience.

Casual bookings welcome.

​​Gentle Yoga with Lauren/Diz:  Hatha  (FULL)
Mondays,  ​9.30am-10.30am 

This gentle and slower-paced class will include simple postures and gentle stretching for physical benefits and meditation as well as relaxation practices to calm the mind and soothe the nervous system. Suits older people or those needing to ease into a yoga practice. Some practices will be practiced on a chair to support those who have issues with joints or mobility.

For strength, balance and endurance.  
  • Build and maintain your functional strength and fitness with our fun and dynamic classes involving light hand and leg weights, bodyweight exercises, balance and endurance exercises
  • Small class size
  • Suitable for older men of most fitness levels - seated options available

  • BYO towel and water bottle

Improve your health and wellbeing.  Increase your social interaction and community connection.  ​
Strength training helps in a number of areas - improving muscle tone, coordination and balance thereby helping in preventing falls, osteoporosis, blood pressure, diabetes and improving your overall mental health.   BYO hand weights, leg weights available.  Wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear, ie runners.

Classes $8 per class

A great opportunity to make new friends while staying fit. Suitable for women between 30 and 79 years old with medium fitness (Approx 1 to 1.5 hours walk at medium pace).
